After working for several firms in the Richmond and Charlottesville markets, Pete started Fall Line in 2019. He leads the office with the understanding that the key to bringing meaningful ideas to life is done through a series of high-quality decisions over an extended period. It’s not just the creative spark that is valued, but the skillful execution in partnership with our Clients, Design Team, and Contractors is paramount when measuring a project’s success.

Melanie joined Fall Line in 2021 bringing a deep understanding of project execution and attention to detail leading to vibrant open spaces in Central Virginia. Her ability to proactively identify project hurdles and their efficient solutions sets the foundation for project success through design and construction for the benefit for all people experiencing the spaces into the future.

Ariana blends her architectural & landscape architectural mind to all project facets with the long-term goal of not just the mastery of the profession, but the will to educate others. Her wholistic view of design captures a wide range of scales and project types that blends perfectly on multi-disciplinary teams as she understands that overlapping skill sets between disciplines translates to a higher level of execution. As she learns new skills, she is always willing to share her knowledge which fosters an environment of learning and shared understanding.

Anna Hundley

Anna is a recent graduate of Virginia Tech, where she earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Growing up in Richmond, Virginia, she developed an early appreciation for the city’s dynamic cultural and natural landscapes.

She first joined Fall Line as an intern in the summer of 2024 and again in the winter of 2025, where she quickly became known for her strong work ethic and collaborative spirit. Now a full-time landscape designer, Anna brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a dedication to learning every facet of the profession. Her contributions support the firm’s work across higher education and cultural projects, with a particular passion for creating spaces that connect people to the environment.
